Wet & python coolers

Wet coolers work with a water tank in which an ice bank forms. They need some time to get ready, but then deliver consistently cold beer for hours, even at high volumes – the right choice for bars, festival tents and continuous operation.

What is a python cooler?

If the keg is in the cellar or far from the bar, the beer warms up in the long line. A python cooler pumps chilled water alongside the beer line and keeps it cold all the way to the tap. What matters is the lift height and line length the unit can handle.

Our units at a glance

  • Wet coolers with 2 or 4 lines, 100 or 200 l/h, NW 7 or 10 mm, with python cooling for 6 m lift height and 20 m line length; 4 lines with 100 l/h also for 18 m and 30 m.
  • Flow-through and python cooler with 2 lines, 60 l/h, NW 7 or 10 mm – beer cooling and python cooling in one unit.
  • Python coolers with a 20 or 45 litre water tank, for up to 18 m lift height and 30 m line length.
  • Wet cooler with carbonator, 3 lines, 34 l/h: two lines of beer and one line of sparkling water, with or without python cooling.

What should I look for?

  • Output: 100 l/h equals about 400 glasses of 0.25 l per hour.
  • Line length: measure the distance from the keg to the tap and the difference in height before choosing a unit.
  • Mobile use: when you need to start quickly, dry coolers without lead time are the better choice.
