Beer taps
The beer tap decides how the beer gets into the glass – with a nice head or as a mountain of foam. Here you will find over 60 taps from CMB, MicroMatic, Felom, TOF and other manufacturers, in chrome, stainless steel, matt or gold-coloured.
What types of beer taps are there?
- Compensator tap: the compensator lets you regulate the flow rate. This way you pour cleanly even with varying pressure and long lines. The standard in catering.
- Piston tap (e.g. C-Tap): simple, robust and easy to clean – good for bars and beer fonts with even pressure.
- Brass tap “Rheinland”: for tapping kegs such as wooden barrels or “Pittermännchen”, optionally with vent valve or automatic locking.
- Stout tap: with creaming plate for the creamy head on stout and nitro beers.
- Turbo tap: for very high dispensing capacity, e.g. at large events.
What do I need to look for when buying?
- Shank (35, 55 or 80 mm): the length must match the thickness of the wall or font on which the tap is mounted.
- Nominal width (NW 7 or 10 mm): to match your beer line.
- Material: chrome-nickel steel (stainless steel) is particularly durable and hygienic; chrome-plated brass is the more affordable alternative.
Accessories such as tap grease, cleaning adapters and drip trays can be found under Accessories and Drip trays. To clean the taps, we recommend a tap brush.
